Hello, thank you for stopping by. Welcome to the April Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. This month’s theme is Boys & Men, and if you are anything like me, then you find male cards a bit of a struggle. It’s not that I do not like to create with typical male colours or images, but I just find them a lot harder and for that reason I have created an Easy Male Card for you.

For today’s Easy Male card, I will be using the Trucking Along Stamp Set and Punch Bundle. This bundle is part of our Online Exclusive offering and can also be purchased separately. As soon as I saw this bundle I knew I had to have it. We used to own a 1949 Ford F1 pickup, which is remarkably similar in design to this image. I have created many cards with this, including Birthdays, Celebration and Christmas. We have a wide circle of friends, who also share our passion for classic American vehicles and Hot Rods.

Creating your Easy Male Card

Cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, measuring 14.1cm x 9.7cm. Using Soft Sea Foam ink, stamp a scene onto your Soft Sea Foam card. I have used the cloud, tree, grass, and ground images. Layer this onto a a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm.

Stamp your truck image onto Balmy Blue cardstock, using Balmy Blue ink and punch out, using the coordinating punch. Adhere this to your stamped scene, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp your sentiment, using Balmy Blue ink, and trim to size. Add a small scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock to the rear, allowing it to show beneath. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to your scene.

Create an A6 Cardbase, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm, using Basic White Thick cardstock. Adhere your layers to the front using multipurpose glue.

To finish your card, add several Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.

Hello and welcome to Junes Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. Wow! Here in the UK, we are having beautiful weather and I have been making the most of it. My garden is in full bloom and looking very pretty. This month’s theme is Embossing, and I would like to share with you just two of the ways you can add embossing to your project.

I will be using an embossing folder, also known as dry embossing, to add background texture and heat embossing stamp an image and sentiment.

Embossing your card

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, and a layer, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, from Moody Mauve cardstock. Place your layer into your embossing folder and run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, using the corresponding plates. I have used the crosshatch folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders, these are available as part of our Online Exclusives.

Wrap a length of Pebbled Path Textured Ribbon around your layer and adhere into place on the rear. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere your layer to your card base.

Take a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and rub over with an Embossing Buddy, these are available as part of the Embossing Additions Tool Kit, this will rid any static and stop your embossing powder sticking where it is not wanted. Stamp your image using Versamark ink and sprinkle with white embossing powder from the Stampin’ Emboss Powders Basics. Shake off the excess and return to the pot.

Heat with a Heat Tool and watch the magic happen. I never tire of this process. Ensure all the powder is melted. Repeat the process with your sentiment, onto Pebbled Path cardstock. I have used the Charming Sentiments stamp set and dies.

Colour your image using Water Painters and Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, Pebbled Path, Early Espresso, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Pool Party ink. Allow to dry before die cutting. I used the largest frame from the Darling Details Dies, to give a different edge. Add to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensions.

Finish by adding your sentiment and several Pebbled Path 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

Hello and welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends Blog, where our theme is Personalised. Most people think that to be personalised, it must have a person’s name. This is so not true. You can personalise by using the favourite colour or flower, with a theme of a sport they play or a hobby they enjoy. It can be as specific or broad as you wish.

My card today is for a special friend who is feeling a little under the weather. I have personalised by adding a cat, which I have coloured to resemble my friends own cat. .

Personalised Get Well Card

Cut a layer of Perfectly Penciled DSP (Designer Series Paper), measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. I have chosen a leaf design to not detract from my main image. Wrap a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon around your DSP and adhere into place on the reverse.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5 cm, using Basic Black cardstock and adhere your DSP layer to the front.

Stamp your wooden bucket, apples, and cat images onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colour using Stampin’ Blends. For my wooden bucket I used Soft Suede Light and Dark Combo, Crumb Cake Light and Dark Combo, and Cajun Craze Light and Dark Combo. I used Cherry Cobler, Real Red and Old Olive Light and Dark Combos for the apples and Smoky Slate Light and Dark Combo with a touch of Light Petal Pink for the cat.

Die cut your images out, using the coordinating Full Basket Dies, and adhere to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp your sentiment with Versamark ink, onto Basic Black cardstock, cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, shake off excess and heat until all is melted. Trim to size and flag cut right end. Add to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish your card, add a knot and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Hello and welcome. Today I would like to share with you a card I created for the Global Design Project #GDP333. This week is a colour challenge, using Mint Macaron, Garden Green and Balmy Blue.

When I first saw this colour combo, I was not struck with inspiration. These are not colours I would normally put together. I skimmed my stamp sets, keeping these colours in mind, and came across Forever Fern. A favourite of mine for foliage, which covers the Mint Macaron and Garden Green, but I was still stuck with the Balmy Blue. I decided to push on with my foliage and the rest just came together,

Watercolour Foliage

Wet a sheet of Fluid 100 watercolour paper using a Stampin’ Spritzer or Water Painter, add Mint Macaron and Garden Green ink, to create a watercolour wash. I used a Water Painter to add my ink, so I could get more control over where the ink ran. When you are happy with your result, leave to dry naturally or dry using a Heat Tool. Die cut several foliage pieces, using the Forever Flourishing Dies. I cut two of each. This is your watercolour foliage.

Create an A6 card base, from Thick Basic White cardstock, measuring 10.5 cm x 14.9 cm. Trim a layer of Balmy Blue cardstock and Vellum A4 cardstock measuring 10 cm x 14.4 cm.

Stamp your sentiment onto Mint Macaron cardstock, using Versamark ink. Sprinkle over with white Stampin’ Emboss powder and melt using a Heat Tool. Die cut your sentiment, I have chosen a label die from the Hippo & Friends Dies.

Adhere your watercolour foliage to your Vellum layer with Mini Glue Dots. Arrange your watercolour foliage to represent a bouquet. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere your Vellum Layer to your Balmy Blue Layer, placing them so that they are hidden behind your watercolour foliage.

Wrap white Baker’s Twine around your layers twice and tie in a bow on the right hand side. Add your sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere your layers to your card base. Finish your card by adding clear Elegant Faceted Gems.

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing how to create a sunrise, for the Tech 4 Stampers February Blog Hop. Our theme this month is New Beginnings. When I first saw this theme I thought about babies and new born animals, then I thought a while longer and the beginning of new day with the sunrise came to mind. I love creating backgrounds and sunsets, plus sunrises are so beautiful.

Sunrise for New Beginnings

Using ‘Daffodil Delight’, ‘Calypso Coral’, ‘Polished Pink’, ‘Misty Moonlight’ ink and ‘Blending Brushes, create a sunrise on a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock measuring 10cm x 10cm. Start with ‘Daffodil Delight’ ink and work from the bottom to the middle. Blend ‘Calypso Coral’ ink from the top to just below the middle and bring further down on the sides. Blend in ‘Polished Pink’ ink, from the top, and add a small amount of ‘Misty Moonlight’, just to give the effect of night sky. Finish by adding ‘Evening Evergreen’ to the bottom, mask off your sunrise using a scrap of card/paper, to create an horizon. Die cut a circle from your sunrise, using the largest of the ‘Layering Circles’ dies.

Create an A6 ‘Daffodil Delight’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Emboss a piece of ‘Basic Gray’ cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, using the ‘Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder’. Adhere your sunrise flat to your embossed layer. Wrap black ‘Bakers Twine’ twice around your layer and fix with a bow. Adhere to your card front using ‘Multipurpose Adhesive’.

Stamp your lady at the window image, from the ‘In The Moment’ stamp set, onto ‘Basic Gray’ cardstock with ‘Basic Gray’ ink. Fussy cut around the image and inside the window panes. Place onto your sunrise using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Using ‘Versamark’ ink, stamp your sentiment twice onto ‘Basic Black’ cardstock and cover with white ‘Stampin’ Emboss Powder’. Shake off the excess and heat with ‘Heat Tool’, until all the powder is melted. Take one of the sentiments and trim around the first three lines in straight cuts to create a block. Fussy cut the word ‘Relax’ from the second sentiment. Mount onto your card using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Add black dots from the ‘Classic Matte Dots’ to finish your card.
