Eastern Beauty Bundle

Hello and welcome to ,my first blog of 2018. I have the been crafting using the elegant ‘Eastern Beauty Bundle’. I just love the Aztec designs in this suite. The combination of Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide give a rich luxurious feeling, while the Lemon Lime Twist adds a fresh zing!

The ‘Eastern Palace SDSP’ combines the rich luxurious colour of Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, Dapper Denim and the fresh zing of Lemon Lime Twist. Added to this is gold foiling for that extra bit of luxury.

Create this card using a Dapper Denim A5 card base folded in half.  Cut a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card 10cm x 14.4cm for your first layer.  Followed by a piece of Very Vanilla 9.5cm x 13.9cm for your second layer.  Adhere these to your card base.  Using the ‘Eastern Palace SDSP’ cut 3 strips 2.5cm x 9.5cm.  Adhere to Very Vanilla layer, leaving a 2mm gap in between.  Cut a circle from Lemon Lime Twist, I used the largest from the ‘Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies’.  Also cut a Medallion from Dapper Denim, using the ‘Eastern Medallions Thinlet Dies’.  (This die does the medallion in the card, you will need to snip it out.)  Adhere to your Very Vanilla Layer, overlapping the strips.  Stamp your sentiment on to Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out using the 1″3/4 punch. Place onto the centre of the medallion using Dimensionals.  Adding a Very Vanilla 10cm x 14.4cm layer to the inside for that finishing touch.
