Hello, I am Leighsa Allport

I am so glad you could join me!

Yes, that is me, on the left, with my fellow crafter, Katy.

I am here to teach and share with you the wonderful world of papercraft!

Well, what would you like to know?  My life story or just from my involvement with Stampin’ Up!?  Yes, I think the later would be best.

I joined Stampin’ Up! in November of 2016, as a hobby demonstrator, to get the discount on my purchases.  I just fell in love with the quality and co-ordination of the products.  I was working full time as an Early Years Practitioner at a local pre-school.  My upline, Louise Sims, inspired me to do more and turn my hobby into a business.  I started holding weekly and monthly events and enjoyed meeting new friends.

The flexibility of being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator allows me to run my business around my family and have time for my other interests.

In May 2020 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and was able to put my business on hold, but continue to serve my customers, through my online shop.  I am now much better and ready to push my business forward.

I was holding a weekly ‘Cuppa and Cards’ and a monthly ‘Card Club’.  Due to Covid these were put on hold and I am now working at getting these started again.  Please check out my events page.

I have a wonderful husband and we have a fabulous daughter, who both help me with my business by being my assistant at events, even if it does cost me.  We have 2 dogs; Sprout is a Staffordshire bull terrier crossed with a boxer and Evangeline is a Shih Tzu.  Also in our home are 8 cats.  Finishing our family is our bunny Anna.  All of which are rescue animals, except Evangeline.

Well, I think that is enough about me.  I look forward to getting to know you and becoming Stampin’ Up! friends.
