Hello and welcome! I can not believe that we are half way through September already.  I have been extremely busy preparing for upcoming events.  This months theme is children and as I am in the middle of my Christmas makes I thought I would go with children and Christmas.  The new holiday catalogue is now live and has some wonderful suites, both for Christmas and general.  The ‘Santa’s Workshop’ suite is my favourite and is perfect for those fun makes for all ages.  It has a tradition red and green colour combination, with fun characters.

I am really enjoying playing with this suite and can not wait to send out my makes to family and friends.  I know my great nieces and nephews will really enjoy the jolly images and bright colours.  There are lots of fantastic products, that not only make wonderful cards, but make amazing gift packaging.

For my card you need an A6 ‘Whisper White’ card base and a 10cm x 14.4cm piece of diagonal flocked, ‘Santa’s Workshop Speciality Designer Series Paper’.  Wrap ‘Garden Green Baker’s Twine’ twice around the SDSP, towards the top and tie with a bow.  Adhere this to your card base.

Stamp three of the elf images, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ and colour using the ‘Poppy Parade’ and ‘Garden Green’ ‘Write Markers’.  Also add ‘Crushed Curry’ for the belt buckle and ‘Early Espresso’ for the hair.  I used the ‘Ivory Blend’ for the face and hands.  To add a bit of sparkle, colour the hat rim and pom-poms with ‘Wink-of-Stella’.  Stack these on top of each other, on the front of your card, using ‘Dimensionals’.

Stamp three of the present images and also colour with ‘Poppy Parade’ and ‘Garden Green’.  Adhere these to the front of your card.  Finish off with a few of the snowflakes from the ‘Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes’.  These make a great fun finishing touch.

I used the ‘Santa’s Bags’ and stamped onto them, to decorate.  Added other stamped and coloured images, making fun gift bags.  The gift boxes are made using the ‘Santa’s Workshop SDSP’, stamped and coloured images and ‘Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon’.  For the gift tags I randomly stamped over an A4 piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock, coloured and cut in half length ways and into 4.5.cm widths.  Back with ‘Poppy Parade’ card stock, use the ‘Scalloped Tag Topper’ punch and add ‘Garden Green Baker’s Twine’.
