Hello, have you seen the ‘New Incolors’? Wow, what do you think? If you have already received your New Annual Catalogue, then you will have seen these five new amazing colours. They are so bright and cheerful.
If you have not received your copy of the new catalogue, please do fill out my request a catalogue form and I will get one in the post to you.
I fell in love with all five of the ‘New Incolors’ as soon as I saw them, but ‘Magenta Madness’ has to be my favourite. This is closely followed by ‘Bumble Bee’, ‘Just Jade’, ‘Misty Moonlight’ and ‘Cinnamon Cider’.
Playing with New Incolors
Every year we get five ‘New Incolors’ and I sit down, at my craft desk, to play. Not really with a finished project in mind, I just stamp and see what comes. This is so I get a feel of how the colours work together.
This time I pulled out my favourite stamp set, ‘Beautiful friendship’. I adore this set as it is so easy to create with. I took a piece of A4 ‘Whisper White’ cardstock and just randomly stamped all over, using several images and all of the ‘New Incolors’. I cut this to make two cards and five gift tags.
One sheet wonder
Cut your randomly stamped piece of ‘Whisper White’ length ways, at 9.7 cm and again at 9.7 cm. This will leave you with two pieces measuring 9.7 cm x 29.8 cm and one 1.6 cm x 29.8 cm, set this strip aside to decorate inside your cards.
Create two card fronts, by cutting each piece at 14 cm. Cut the remaining two pieces into five, measuring 4.7 cm x 9.7 cm, these will make your tag fronts. Any remaining pieces can be used to decorate your envelopes.
Congratulations card
Take one of your card front and layer onto a piece of ‘Misty Moonlight’ cardstock, measuring 10 cm x 14.3 cm. Adhere this onto a thick ‘Whisper White’ cardbase, measuring 10.5 cm x 14.9 cm, using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.
Stamp your sentiment, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink, onto ‘Whisper White’ cardstock and die cut with a ‘Stitched Rectangle’ die. Stamp your sentiment again using ‘Magenta Madness’ ink and fussy cut out the word ‘congratulation’. Adhere this on top of the black congratulations, using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’, and place this onto your card front with ‘Multi Purpose Adhesive’.
Birthdays Are The Best Days Card
Create your layered card front the same as for the ‘Congratulations Card’, using ‘Magenta Madness’ cardstock and not ‘Misty Moonlight’.
Stamp your sentiment, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink, onto ‘Whisper White’ cardstock. Cut this out with a label die from the ‘Hippo & Friends’ dies. Trim a piece of ‘Bumble Bee’ ribbon, that is long enough to twist behind your sentiment. Adhere your sentiment to the middle of your card front, using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.
Team of Tags
Cut a piece of cardstock from each of the ‘Incolor’ cardstock, measuring 5 cm x 12.5 cm. Punch one end using the ‘Scalloped Tag Topper’ punch, adhere your stamped cardstock to the front and finish with a piece of ‘Incolor’ ribbon.
