A Simple Halloween Card using ‘Sparkle of the Season Bundle’

Hello and welcome to this months Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop. Today we bring you Seasonal Fun – Autumnal or Christmas. I have chosen to share with you a simple Halloween card, using the ‘Sparkle of the Season Bundle’. This bundle is a stamp set and dies bundle, available from the July – December 2021 mini catalogue. This bundle would be perfect for Autumn and Winter, as well as Halloween and Christmas.

I do not tend to craft for Halloween, as my child has now out grown trick or treating and unfortunately, it is not celebrated locally. When I purchased this bundle it was to create Christmas cards, but with this months theme I want to make a simple Halloween card. I do hope that my card inspires you.

Simple Halloween Card

Cut a piece of ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm, to create a card front and using ‘Tuxedo Black Memento’ ink for all your stamping, stamp the branch and leaves image, several times to the top left hand corner. In the opposite, right hand corner, stamp several of the bat images. Using the leaves stamp, stamp several times in the bottom left hand corner.

Stamp the swirl image slightly above centre. Die cut the starry swirl from ‘Basic Black’ cardstock and adhere over your stamped swirl.

Die cut three pumpkins from ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock and three bats, plus one broom, from ‘Basic Black’ cardstock. Adhere your broom to the bottom left hand corner and two of your bats below your swirl.

Add texture to your pumpkins, using ‘Pumpkin Pie’ ink and a ‘Sponge Dauber’, and place these to the bottom right hand corner using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.

Take a ‘Sponge Dauber’ and ‘Basic Grey’ ink, and add a light covering to your card front. Create a ‘Basic Black’ card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5 cm, and adhere your card card front.

Stamp your sentiment on ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock, using ‘Tuxedo Black Memento’ ink. Trim to 1cm x 8cm and layer onto ‘Basic Black’ cardstock, measuring 1.4cm x 8cm. Adhere over your swirls using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’ and finish by adding your third bat to your sentiment.
