Hello, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you how I created this Woo Hoo! You Did It card for the Global Design Project #GDP355. This week we have a Theme: Animals.
I just had to choose the Happier Than Happy stamp set for this challenge. The bear, fox and owl are so cute and remind me of the Gruffalo books.
For this card, I wanted to use the Rays Of Lights and Amazing Phrasing stamp sets. I only received these on Monday and knew straight away what I wanted to create. The Rays Of Light stamp is a fabulous background stamp, which makes creating backgrounds easy. And the Amazing Phrasing stamp set is FREE with any £90 order, what’s not to like? Plus, it really does have amazing statement sentiments.
Woo Hoo! You did it card
Place a piece of Basic White cardstock in your Stamparatus and secure with Magnets. Place your Rays Of Light stamp onto your cardstock and close your Stamparatus plate, picking up your stamp. Using a Sponge Dauber, add Blushing Bride ink to the outer edges of your stamp. Close your Stamparatus plate to stamp onto cardstock. Working in from the edges, add Polished Pink, then Melon Mambo ink to your stamp and stamp onto your cardstock. This will give to an ombre effect. Trim your stamped background to 9cm x 13cm and mat with Basic Black cardstock.
Stamp your bear image using Coastal Cabana, fox using Gorgeous Grape and owl using Tahitian Tide ink onto Basic White cardstock. Using the coordinating Happy Forest Dies, die cut out your images. Loop silver Simply Elegant Trim and place onto your background. Add your stamped images using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Stamp your Woo Hoo! sentiment onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut. Adhere to your background using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Thick Basic White cardstock. Adhere your background to your card base.
To finish your card, add Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment. For a more natural look, I took a pinch, held over my card, and dropped them. I then glued them into place, where they had fallen.
