Hello and welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends Blog, where our theme is Christmas. Who doesn’t like crafting for Christmas. It’s one of the times we can let our crafty hair down and go all out! Full on sparkle and shine! Whether you choose traditional reds and greens or a modern pink and black colour scheme, it really doesn’t matter at all.
That being said, my card today has the traditional red with the modern black and a little sparkle.
Christmas Card
For my card I have chosen to use a selection of products from my stash. Mixing Christmas and non-Christmas themed products.
Cut a layer of Sweet Sorbet DSP (Designer Series Paper), measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. I have chosen the spotty design as it reminded me of snow falling. Wrap a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon around your DSP and adhere into place on the reverse.
Create an A6 card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5 cm, using Thick Basic White cardstock. Adhere your DSP layer to the front.
Die cut a Basic White circle pane label, using the Painted Labels Dies. Using the Penguin Place stamp set and Old Olive ink, stamp two trees onto your label. I only inked my stamp once to give different looks to each. Adhere this to your card front.
Stamp a penguin onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and add eyes. Using Pumpkin Pie ink, add a beak and stamp two feet. Punch out your penguin and feet, using the Penguin Builder punch. Adhere the feet to your penguin and add to your card, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp your sentiment with black ink, onto Basic White cardstock and trim to size. I have used the Merry Christmas from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set, inking, and stamping each word separately to allow them to be side by side and not on top of each other.
Finish your card with a bow and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I hope I have inspired you to get creative. All products used and listed below and available to purchase from my online shop.

Such a sweet card Leighsa and I was so happy to see the penguin return this year xx
