Happy New Year and welcome to the first Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop of 2023. I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas holiday, if you celebrate, and a fabulous New Year! I can’t believe we are into another year again; they certainly seem to come round faster the older I get. For January we have a theme of ‘Love’. Love for everything and anything. I have chosen to create a Valentines card ready for next month.

Easy To Love Valentines Card

Trim a piece of DSP (Designer Series Paper) measuring 8cm x 14.4cm, I have chosen a piece from the Country Floral Lane DSP, and adhere to a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, measuring 8.5cm x 14.4cm. Adhere to a Basic White card layer, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Thick Basic White cardstock and adhere your layer to the front.

Stamp a basket from the Cheerful Basket stamp set, using Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock. Colour using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut around the image. Using Sweet Sorbet ink, stamp hearts image onto Basic White cardstock. Colour using Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut around the image and adhere to the back of your basket, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. There are dies to cut both the hearts and basket if you prefer, Full Basket Dies.

Stamp your sentiment, I have used You Are Easy To Love from the Beautifully Happy stamp set (available FREE with any £90 order during Sale a-bration), using Sweet Sorbet ink onto Basic White cardstock. Die cut your sentiment using a banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, ensuring it is over to the left-hand side.

Add your basket of hearts to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim your sentiment to size and also using Stampin’ Dimensionals, add to your card.

Finish your card by adding Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels and Wink of Stella to your hearts.
