Hello and thanks for stopping by, for this month’s Tech 4 Stampers blog hop we are bringing you ‘Birthdays’ . We all need birthday cards, and they must be the most made and sent cards. Anything really does go with this theme, and I want to share with you, how you can use a background stamp to create a beautiful card.

One of my favourite background stamps is the Drizzling Droplets. This is part of the Online Exclusive offering and is simply gorgeous. It gives a soft, textured image that is perfect for birthdays as well as weddings, christening and so much more.

Background Stamp Birthday Card

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 10cm x14.4cm. Using Soft Sea Foam Ink stamp your Drizzling Droplets onto your card. Adhere to an A6 Crumb Cake cardbase, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.

Using the Wanted To Say Dies, die-cut a ‘Happy Birthday’ from Petal Pink cradstock and the background from Crumb Cake cardstock. Adhere these together and add to your card front, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From the Country Flowers Dies, die-cut one large and three small leaves using Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Also die-cut, one large and one small flower from Basic White cardstock, and one small flower from Petal Pink cardstock. Add these around your ‘Happy Birthday’ using mini glue dots.

To finish your card, add a Linen Thread bow and Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of your flowers.
