This weeks Global Design Project #GDP274 is a sketch challenge. They give you a layout to recreate, using any supplies you wish. This gives endless possibilities to your creative instinct.
I love to create an ombre background, using brayers and blending brushes, but not everyone does. I want to show you that this is possible with the new ‘Oh So Ombre DSP’ (Designer Series Paper). This is available Free during Sale-A-Bration.
YAY Confetti Card #GDP274
Cut a piece of ‘Bermuda Bay’ ‘Oh So Ombre’ DSP, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Randomly stamp the starburst image from the ‘Pattern Play’ stamp set, using ‘Bermuda Bay’ ink. Wrap around a piece of ‘Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon’ and fix on the back.
Layer your DSP onto a piece of ‘Basic White’ card stock, measuring 10.2cm x 14.6cm. Create an A6 ‘Basic Black’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, and adhere your card front.
Die cut YAY from ‘Gorgeous Grape’ card stock, using the ‘Playful Alphabet Dies’. Adhere above the ribbon on your card front, using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.
Heat emboss Cut The Confetti, using ‘White Embossing Powder’ onto ‘Basic Black’ card stock and fussy cut out the word Confetti. Adhere to your ribbon.
Finish your card by adding white sequins from the ‘Woven Threads Sequin Assortment’.
