Hello and thanks for popping by. For this month’s Tech 4 Stampers blog hop we are bringing you ‘White Christmas’. We all wish for a White Christmas, right? I know I do, just for a day or two is perfect. It helps to create that magical feeling and create that perfect Christmas atmosphere.

I wanted to create a card that was completely white, but that is absurd. A completely white card would be plain and boring. Just adding a little colour like black and silver gives interest. For my White Christmas card, I have chosen to use the Youetide Village stamp set. The images included in this set are covered in snow and just lend themselves perfectly for a White Christmas card. .

White Christmas Card

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 10cm x14.4cm, and heat emboss using the Falling Snow stamp and white embossing powder. The stamp is not large enough to cover the length of the card, so I turned the stamp and restamped to the bottom. Wrap with a length of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and tie with a bow. Adhere to an A6 Thick Basic White card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.

Using the Radiating Stitches Dies, die-cut the middle-sized rectangle from Basic White cardstock. White heat emboss using the Falling Snow stamp. Stamp your images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Add Pool Party Light Stampin’ Blend to add shadow to the snow, using the Color Lifter to soften. Adhere to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

White heat emboss your sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock and fussy cut around. Adhere to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid adhesive, overhaning the edge of your rectangle.

To finish your card, add several Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
