It’s the last Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop of 2024 and we are keeping it simple. Simple stamping is perfect for quick & easy projects and who doesn’t need a quick & easy card sometimes? I want to share with you a quick & easy Birthday card using the Cake Celebration stamp set.
Most stamp sets have their main images and smaller supporting images, it is those images that I have used for todays card. The Cake Celebration stamp set is, as the name suggests, focused on images that build a cake. It also has lots of smaller floral images that can be used to decorate the cake, but I have showcased these images.
A Quick & Easy Birthday Card
Cut a layer of Basic White cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Stamp your sentiment to the center using Smoky Slate ink. You could swap out the sentiment to create and occasion card you wish.
Using the three flower images, stamp to either side of your sentiment with a mixture of Bubble Bath and Highland Heather ink. Try to slightly overlap a few as this gives a more natural look.
Add foliage between your flowers using both foliage stamps and Soft Sea Foam ink. If you have any unwanted gaps, infill using your small flower image and 2nd generation (stamped off) Bubble Bath or Highland Heather ink.
Draw a frame around your Basic White layer using a Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker and add a couple of dashes along each edge. I have the older style marker which has a finer nib, but the newer style will work or your could use a fine liner.
Add your layer to an A6 Basic White cardbase, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Finish your card by adding several Rhinestone Basic Jewels to larger flowers.
I hope I have inspired you to try quick & easy simple stamping. All the products used are listed below and available to purchase from my online store.
Please do continue to hop round for lots more creativity and inspiration. I can’t wait to see what the other demonstrators have chosen to share with you.
