Tic Tac Toe – Autumnal Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome to the Stamp Impression EUrope blog hop! This group is well established and consists of super talented demonstrators from across Europe and I am honoured to be part of this group. Each month we have a different challenge to create our project around. This can be a perfect starting point and great for stretching your creativity.

This month we are sharing projects created using the Tic Tac Toe Board above. We can use any three items as long as they form a straight line on the board. Sometimes this can be easier than others and can create a fun challenge.

I have chosen to go straight down the middle and create an Autumnal Fun Fold Card using Ribbon/Twine, Leaves/Pumpkin & Fun Fold. I had to choose the leaves as it fits perfectly with my Product Spotlight this month, the Simply Leaves Bundle. My next choice was ribbon, as I have recently received the beautiful Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon. This left me with Fun Fold to complete my line, which I do enjoy creating.

How I created my Autumnal Fun Fold card.

Create an A6 cardbase, meauring 10cm x 14.9cm, using Basic Beige cardstock. Die-cut a scalloped circle from Basic Beige cardstock, using the largest die. Using 2nd generation/stamped off Crumb Cake ink, randomly stamp the leaf veins over your circle. Cut your circle in half and and score at 1cm from your cut line. Fold and burnish your score lines. Adhere to your cardbase, ensuring your folded edges line-up with the edge of your card.

Emboss a piece of Golden Glow cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.9cm, using the Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder. Open your scalloped flaps and adhere your embossed layer to your cardbase. Using Massy Meadoe ink, stamp a small checked leaf and your sentiment onto Basic Beige cardstock. Fussy cut around your leaf and die-cut your sentiment. I used a scalloped label to match the scalloped flaps. Adhere both flat onto your embossed layer.

Onto Basic Beige cardstock, using all three large leaf images, stamp one using Golden Glow, one using Crumb Cake and one using Pecan Pie ink. Also on to Basic Beige cardstock, stamp a small check leaf using Crumb Cake ink, the other small leaf and a sentiment using Mossy Meadow ink. Punch out your large leaves and fussy cut around small leaves and sentiment.

Use your bone folder to add shape to your leaves and adhere to the front of your flaps, using a mix of Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots. Create a bow, using the Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon, and add besides your leaves. Adhere your sentiment over your leaf and bow, using Mini Glue Dots.

I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the layered stems of my left hand leaves and tied in a knot. I thought this just finished them off. Finish your Autumnal Fun Fold card by adding several 2026-2028 In Color Dots. I did put a couple inside my flaps too.
