#30DAYCARDMAKINGCHALLENGE
DAY 6 – 10
Hello and welcome. How are you? I hope you are all staying safe. When I was first furloughed I thought great, lots of craft time, but it just did not happen. I had lost my crafting mojo! After days of wanting to craft, but no having any thought on what to do, I saw that @Martin’s Mayhem had put together #30DAYCARDMAKINGCHALLENGE. I made the commitment to participate and this got me crafting and it has definitely brought my mojo back.
Today I will be sharing my cards from day six to ten. I will be continuing to post the following days on a Tuesday and Saturday, so I do hope you will pop back. I hope you find some inspiration and enjoy. A list of products and techniques will be below each card.
Day 6 – Christmas Came Early
Heat emboss your your sentiment in white and use a ‘Stitched Rectangle die’ to cut out. Stamp your image in black and flick/splatter with ‘Frost White Shimmer Paint’. Add ribbon ribbon and twine to finish.
Day 7 – Taste The Rainbow
Stamp your chosen rainbow colours with a background/texture image, using a ‘Blender Pen’ to draw out the ink and soften the image. Stamp and punch out your umbrella image from ‘Designer Series Paper’, stamp your sentiment and trim to a banner edge. Finish with ‘Iridescent Sequins’.
Day 8 – Card Sketch
Emboss your top white layer and adhere on the wonk with your coloured layer. Stamp out three flower images, using first and second generation stamping and fussy cut. Stamp your sentiment onto a banner and add a few twists of ‘Silver Thread’.
Day 9 – Spring
Stamp and punch out several tulips and petal images, using two complementing colours. Using a stem image, stamp a number of stems gathering into the middle. Place on your tulips and petals. Stamp and punch your sentiment, and finish with a bow and rhinestones.
Day 10 – Summer
Stamp your flower image over the left diagonal of your layer, fill in with leaves and layer up. Add ribbon and a bow. Cut a ‘Stitched Label’ using the dies and a scalloped edge from the ‘Painted Labels Dies’, stamp your sentiment and adhere both to card.
I hope you liked my cards, please leave a comment below and remember to pop back Tuesday for days 11-15.
