#30DAYCARDMAKINGCHALLENGE
DAY 16 – 20
Hello and welcome. Wow! We are half way through my #30daycardmakingchallege share. I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. When I was first furloughed I thought great, lots of time to craft, but I had lost my crafting mojo and could not think where to begin. I came across the #30DAYCARDMAKINGCHALLENGE set by Martin’s Mayhem and made the decision to commit to partaking in this challenge. Well, it got me crafting and certainly got my crafting mojo back.
Today I am sharing my cards from day 16 – 20. I will be continuing to post the remaining days on a Tuesday and Saturday, in blocks of 5, so I do hope you will pop back. I hope you find some inspiration and enjoy. A list of products and techniques is available below each card.
DAY 16 – Card Sketch
Stamp your bird image with memento ink, colour using blends and die cut using stitched labels dies. Fussy cut flowers from the bird ballad dsp and a background layer. Wrap linen thread around your backing layers and tie in a bow. Add your stamped image and fussy cut flowers. White heat emboss a sentiment and fussy cut, add to front of card and finish with a few sequins.
DAY 17 – Black, White and Grey
Cut thin strips of card in all three colours, stamp a few random stars on your lightest strips using the same colour ink and place these evenly on your white layer. White heat emboss your sentiment and silver heat emboss stars to a wider strip of card, that is the same length as your card. Layer a small strip of black above, add a swirl of silver thread behind and adhere to card front.
DAY 18 – Fabulous Floral
Emboss your top layer with the layered leaves embossing folder and layer to a piece of best dressed dsp. Fussy cut flower images from the best dressed dsp and build up on your card front. White heat emboss your sentiment and die cut using the stitched label dies. Finish with frosted flowers embellishment and rhinestones.
DAY 19 – Seek Adventure
Brayer your background with a mix of daffodil delight, crushed curry and pumpkin pie. Stamp your tree images in the centre using memento black ink, cut an oval from you top layer and layer up on card front. White heat emboss your sentiment and layer with pumpkin pie. Finish with some basic pearls coloured with blends.
Day 20 – Down Memory Lane
Silver heat emboss your image, brayer with real red ink to create an ombre effect and adhere to basic black layer. Wrap with ribbon and bakers twine, tied in a bow. Heat emboss your sentiment in silver and trim to fit. Add rhinestones to finish.
