Days 26 – 30
Hello and welcome to the final instalment of #30cardmakingchallenge days 26 – 30. This is a challenge I started when I was first furloughed and had lost my crafting mojo. At times I find that having a theme, colour combination or a sketch to follow really helps my crafting block, as it gives me a starting point. Please take a look at my previous post for days 1 – 25.
Today I would like to share with you cards for days 26 – 30. I hope you find some inspiration and enjoy. A list of products and techniques used is available below each card.
Day 26 – Colour Combo – Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss & Whisper White
Stamp your image and sentiment onto watercolour card, using Stazon. Colour your image using an aqua painter, splatter your background with ink on aqua painter. Layer both pieces onto blackberry bliss card and onto a crushed curry cardbase. Add gold sequins to finish.
Day 27 – Be The Difference
Randomly stamp flower and leaf images in both right hand corners, stamp a strip of card with arrowhead, equally distanced (you could use your stamparatus and the hinge technique), adhere to card front. Wrap white bakers twine around and tie with a bow, stamp your sentiment and colour using blends. Die cut using nested stitched labels dies and adhere with dimensioals to card front, layer onto card cardbase. Finish with happiness blooms enamel dots.
Day 28 – Hey Girl, Hey
Die cut a piece of watercolour card using the stitched shapes dies, stamp your image and colour with an aqua painter. Layer up your card front with card stock and a strip on designer series paper, wrap ribbon around and add to card front. Using dimensionals add your stamped image, stamp your sentiment and finish with woven threads sequins.
Day 29 – Wallpaper Warriors
Cut strips of designer series paper and adhere staggered to card front. Wrap with burlap ribbon and bakers twine, tying in a bow. Stamp your sentiment and die cut using nested stitched labels dies. Trim edge and adhere to card front. Add incolor faceted dots to finish.
Day 30 – Satisfaction Guaranteed
Create a background on watercolour card using pigment sprinkles and a stampin spritzer. Stamp and punch two umbrellas from designer series paper, adhere using dimensionals. White heat emboss your sentiment and die cut using stitched rectangle dies. Add silver thread and rhinestones to finish.
