What an amazing stamp set! Epic Celebrations is funky, fun and fabulous. This is perfect for those teenagers or young at heart. I find it difficult to create for those young adults in our lives. They are to old for the cuties but don’t want the flowers or usual male boats and cars. Epic Celebrations makes creating for these very simple.

The set has sneakers, headphones and a guitar, plus sentiments and a background image. The images are perfect for creating backgrounds, as well as a focal image. Colouring/shading, using our Markers, Blends or Inks and fussing cutting these images is easy and makes a fabulous topper for any card.

I found bundles of inspiration on Pinterest and really enjoyed creating the cards shown. The use of vibrant colours adds to the funky feeling. My favourite has to be the You’re Awesome Sneakers card. I love using bright colours and was able to incorporate several of my favourites: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Perfect Plum. Using an A5 piece of whisper white thick card stock, fold in half to make a card base. Cut a 14.4cm x 10cm basic black layer and a 14.1cm x 9.7cm whisper white layer. Stamp the sneakers randomly using black ink, my choice is Memento. Colour using Stampin Up write markers, in you colours of choice. Adhere layers to card base. Stamp You’re Awesome sentiment in black ink, on whisper white card stock and cut out to required shape (ensuring that you can cut one 3mm larger from basic black). I like a parallelogram as these are easy to cut. Adhere together and apply dimensionals to the back. Take black metallic thread and wind several times around your fingers, this will give you the a large enough spool to show behind your sentiment, place onto dimensionals, on back of sentiment. Adhere to middle of card.
