Hello, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you how I created this Christmas Rainbow card, for the Global Design Project #GDP364. This week we have a CASE The Designer challenge. You may be wondering what CASE means, there are two common explanations- Copy And Share Everything/Copy And Selectively Edit. Today we are taking Copy And Selectively Edit.
I have chosen to use the Trees For Sale and Penguin Place stamp set, plus the Penguin Builder punch.
Christmas Rainbow Card
Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, measuring 21cm x 10cm. Stamp the large tree image, from the Trees For Sale stamp set, using Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay ink. Add splatters of each colour around each tree.
Using the Penguin Builder punch, punch out seven Basic Black penguins and seven Basic White penguin fronts. Stamp each with eyes and a beak, using Pumpkin Pie and black ink. Give each of your penguins a bow tie using the same colours as your trees.
Adhere your penguins, using Stampin’ Dimensionals, to your trees matching the colours. Wrap silver thread, from the Simply Elegant Trim, twice around the bottom of your card and adhere on the back.
Using Versamark ink, stamp your sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock and cover with white Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Shake off excess and heat until fully melted. Fussy cut to suit and adhere over your silver thread. Adhere to a DL card base, measuring 21cm x 10.5cm.
To finish your card, sprinkle with Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment and adhere into place, removing any from your penguins.
