Crafty Greetings Cards
Hello and welcome. How are you keeping yourself busy in these strange times? I am making the most of the opportunity to craft and send Crafty Greetings Cards to my crafty friends.
I wanted use the ‘Crafting Forever’ stamp set, ‘Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit’ and the ‘Follow Your Art Washi Tape’, as I think they work so well together.
Do Something Creative Every Day Card
I love washi tape, but i do sometime struggle to use it on my cards. For this project I decided to use it as the background and I believe it works really well. Tearing the edges means you do not have to measure nor be to precise.
Lay your washi tape onto a piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Stamp your pen/brush pot image onto another piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink. Colour your image using ‘Stampin’ Write Markers’ in ‘Basic Gray’, ‘Blushing bride’, ‘Calypso Coral’, ‘Coastal Cabana’, ‘Crushed Curry’ and ‘Pacific Point’. Fussy cut and adhere to your card front.
Wrap ‘Pacific Point’ twine around card front, add a heart trinket and tie in a bow. Place a felt scalloped strip onto the twine and several felt flowers, using different colours. Adhere your card front to a ‘Coastal Cabana’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.
Stamp your sentiment onto ‘Whisper White’ card stock, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink. Trim to a size your like, cutting a diagonal on the left. Back this with a piece of ‘Coastal Cabana’ card stock that is slightly larger and shows to the left and bottom. Adhere to card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’ and add a felt flag to finish.

We Are Cut Out To Be Friends Card
In my stamp set box I had some fussy cut scissor image, these were left over from a previous project. I wanted to use them and knew that my sentiment would have to be cut up.
Cut a piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock, measuring 9.7cm x 14.1cm, stamp you pens image to the bottom right and colour these using your ‘Stampin’ Write Markers’. On piece of ‘Coastal Cabana’ card stock, measuring 1cm x 14.4cm, stamp random flower and leaf images (I used the Believe You Can stamp set) to tie in with the pens. Adhere to your card front and wrap with ‘Calypso Coral’ twine, adding a heart trinket and tying in a bow.
Stamp your scissor image onto ‘Whisper White’ card stock, colour and fussy cut out. Adhere to card front, under the bow. This makes it look like the scissors have a scissor charm attached. Adhere your card front to a ‘Calypso Coral’ layer, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, and adhere to a thick ‘Whisper White’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.
Using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink, stamp your sentiment and cut each word into a square ish shape. Stamp your sentiment again, using ‘Versamark’, onto black card stock. Cover with white embossing powder and heat until all powder is melted. Fussy cut out the word ‘friends’. Adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.
