Hello and welcome to my first Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. For this Month we hare bringing you the theme – What’s New! We are free to interpret this in any way we feel. I have chosen to show case new products. There of lots of lovely new products available in the new mini catalogue and with ‘Sale-a-bration’ happening, there are even more than usual.
I have chosen two ‘Sale-a-bration’ products to create with. ‘Darling Donkeys’ stamp set and ‘Oh So Ombre DSP’ (Designer Series Paper), both of which are available free with a £45 order. The ‘Darling Donkeys’ stamp set contains three, super cute, donkey images. Four great little sentiments and a triple star image. The ‘Oh So Ombre DSP’ comes in four beautiful colours, in two designs.
Darling Donkeys Gift Tags
Cut a piece of ‘Balmy Blue’ card stock, measuring 7.5cm x 12.5cm, for your tag base. Layer with a piece of ‘Blackberry Bliss’ ‘Oh So Ombre DSP’, measuring 7cm x 12cm.
Die cut a small circle and rectangle, using the ‘Stitched Shapes’ and ‘Stitched Rectangle’ dies, from ‘Gorgeous Grape’ card stock. Fold the circle in half and adhere over the top of your tag. Adhere your rectangle slightly over to the left of your tag. Punch a hole in the top of your tag, using the ‘Detailed Trio’ punch.
Stamp your donkey on to a piece of ‘Basic White’ card stock, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink and colour using ‘Stampin Blends’, ‘Gray Granite’, ‘Crumb Cake’ and ‘Petal Pink’. Die cut with a medallion from the ‘Hippo & Friends’ dies. Ink the edges using ‘Balmy Blue’ ink and new ‘Blending Brushes’. Adhere using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’, on top of your rectangle.
Cut several strands coordinating of ribbon, approximately 30cm long, and thread through the hole. If you do not have coordinating ribbon, you can colour white ribbon with ‘Stampin Blends’. Secure these in place, tying with thread or twine.
