Hello and welcome all. I am so pleased you could join me today. Life is getting back to the new normal here, after my website makeover. Learning new technology is something that really does take me awhile to get my head round.

For todays blog I am joining the ‘Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop’ and our theme this month is Easter/Spring. I am so glad that we are now in Spring and the nights are getting lighter. Seeing all the flowers blooming and garden coming to life, really does help to lift my spirits.

There really is only one stamp set I could choose for this theme, the wonderful ‘Springtime Joy’. This is such a cute set and having a sheep just makes it perfect. The images are clear and simple, which is why I have chosen to create a basic Easter card suitable for beginner stampers.

Basic Easter card suitable for beginner stampers

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from ‘Basic White Thick’ cardstock. Stamp your Sheep/Bunny, towards the bottom righthand corner, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink. Using the same ink, stamp your sentiment in the opposite corner.

You could leave it there and just write your message inside. I have decided to add a touch of soft colour, using the ‘Soft Sea Foam’, ‘Petal Pink’, ‘Smokey Slate’ and ‘So Saffron Stampin Blends Combo’. Also a flower image on the inside.

This is a #simplestamping card, but I think it is super cute and makes a statement. Clean and simple. You do not always have to to add lots of embellishments to create a lovely card. All products used are listed below and available to purchase from my online shop.
