Hello and welcome to my blog. For todays post I am joining the Global Design Project #GDP285. This week the theme is a colour challenge.
These colour are so soft and spring like. Initially, I was thinking a baby card, but then looking at my stamp sets I noticed the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. This set is one on my favourites, I love Hydrangeas, and it is on the retiring list for the annual 2020/2021 catalogue. I need to showcase this wonderful set more.
Simple Stamping Birthday Card
Create an A6 card base from ‘Basic White Thick’ cardstock, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Layer with a piece of ‘Seaside Spray’ cardstock, measuring 10.2cm x 14.6cm.
Cut a card front from of ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Stamp your Hydrangea image several times, using ‘Seaside Spray’ ink, to cover three quarters of your card front. Overlapping the edges and your images.
Colour a piece of ‘White Crinkle Seam Binding’, long enough to wrap around your card front and tie in a bow, using ‘So Saffron Light Stampin Blend’. Once dry, wrap around your card front and tie with a bow. Adhere to your card base using ‘Multipurpose Adhesive’.
Stamp your sentiment on a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock, using ‘Sahara Sand’ ink. Die cut using the second largest ‘Stitched Shapes’ circle die. Stamp several flower images, onto the circle, using ‘So Saffron’ ink. Mount onto your card front using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.
Finish your card by adding clear gems from the ‘Elegant Faceted Gems’.
