September 2021 Blog Hop – Sale-A-Bration Counting Sheep Stamp set
Hello and thank you for hopping by. I can not believe we are in September already. Kids are back at school and life is getting back to normal. I have been missing for quite a while, due to circumstances, but that is life and I am back! I have so missed crafting and sharing my makes with you all.
For this months Blog Hop, we have been given the theme – Sale-A Bration. Allowing us to showcase any of the offers from our current Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Obviously, there is only one stamp set that I could choose and that is the Counting Sheep Stamp Set and coordinating Sheep Dies.
I adore these little posing sheep and their quirky expressions. They are so easy to place in various positions and the Sheep Dies make it easy to cut them out and create wonderful backgrounds. The Counting Sheep Stamp Set is available FREE, with a qualifying £45 order, as are the Sheep Dies. These are only available whilst stocks last or until 30th September.
Saturday Night Fever Sheep
I have really enjoyed creating this fun card. The expression on his little face, as he struts his stuff on the dance floor. I can hear the music now, ‘Night Fever, Night Fever’! It’s wonderful and suitable for all.
Cut a ‘Basic White’ card stock layer, measuring 9.5cm x 13.9cm. Using a ‘Blending Brush and ‘Night Of Navy’ ink, blend the ink onto the cardstock from the edges, turning your layer as you go. This will give darker edges. Continue until you are happy and have very dark edges and an area, high center, that is light. Using a ‘White Stampin’ Chalk Marker’, splat all over by hitting against a pen or pencil.
Trim a piece of ‘Be Dazzling 6×6 Speciality Paper’ (available free during Sale-A-Bration), measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and adhere to an A6 ‘Night Of Navy’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Layer your card front on top.
Stamp your sheep image, using ‘Basic Grey’ ink. Colour the face, legs, ears and feet using ‘Ivory and Dark Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends’. Using the coordinating die, cut out your sheep and adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dinemsionals’.
Die cut a circle from ‘Be Dazzling 6×6 Speciality Paper’, using the ‘Layering Circles Dies’. Add to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’. Draw a line from the top of your card to the disco ball.
Heat emboss your sentiment onto ‘Night Of Navy’ card stock, using ‘Versamark Ink’ and ‘White Emboss Powder’. Trim to suit and adhere using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals.
