Hello and welcome. For todays blog post I am joining the Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop, with a theme of Anything But A Card!
With Christmas being just around the corner, I want to share with you some gift packaging. These Whimsical Christmas Pillow boxes are so cute and really simple to create. Below I will show you how to recreate just one of my creations, but all where created along the same lines.
Whimsical Christmas Pillow Boxes
‘Tis The Season Pillow Box
Using the ‘Pretty Pillow Box Dies’, die cut your pillow box from ‘Mint Macaron’ cardstock. Randomly stamp the small Christmas tree image from the ‘Whimsical Trees’ stamp set, all over your die cut piece, using ‘Mint Macaron’ Ink. This creates a subtle tone on tone background. Fold your pillow box carefully, teasing the card into the desired shape. Fix together using ‘Mini Glue Dots’.
Using ‘Misty Moonlight’ ink, stamp your greeting onto ‘Basic White’ cardstock. Die cut using the fancy label die, from the ‘Pretty Pillow box Dies’. Adhere this to the front of your pillow box, using ‘TomBow Multipurpose Adhesive’ applied to the lower half only.
Fussy cut several baubles from the ‘Whismy & Wonder 12×12 Speciality Designer Series Paper (SDSP)’ and a bow. Adhere these onto and behind your fancy label, using a mix of ‘Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive’ and ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’. This gives great dimension to your pillow box.
For the finishing touch, add a few ‘Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
