Simple Thanks Card for #GDP329

Hello and welcome. Today I would like to share a ‘Simple Thanks’ card, designed for the Global Design Project. This week we have been given a colour combo. This allows us to use any products we choose, so long as we incorporate the given colours.

I have chosen to use the ‘Amazing Silhouettes Bundle’. The stamp set gives you three beautiful silhouette images and the coordinating dies allow for four layered words.

A Simple Thanks Card

Trim a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock to 7.5cm x 13.9cm. Stamp your image, using ‘Magenta Madness’ ink, in the centre. Stamp a second image above, using ‘Mango Melody’ ink, and a third below, using ‘Misty Moonlight ink.

Cut two strips of ‘Misty Moonlight’ cardstock, measuring 1cm x 13.9cm and adhere to either side of your ‘Basic White’ cardstock. Ensure it shows about 2mm. Repeat this with ‘Magenta Madness’ and ‘Mango Melody’ cardstock. Cut a piece of ”Basic Black’ cardstock measuring 9.2cm x 14.4cm. Add ‘Multipurpose Adhesive’ to the rear of your ‘Mango Melody’ strips and place onto your ‘Basic Black’ layer.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Adhere your ‘Basic Black’ layer to the front. Die cut ‘Thanks’ from ‘Basic White’, for the front and ‘Basic Black’ cardstock, for the backing. Using ‘Multipurpose Adhesive’, adhere the front to the backing. Place onto your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Finish your card by adding ‘Adhesive-backed Sequins’.
