Hello, glad you have popped by to allow me to, hopefully, inspire you to get creative! today I would like to share with you how I created my card, using Embossing Paste and a Mask. This card is created for the Global Design Project #GDP341 colour challenge.
I love a colour challenge and this colour combo is beautiful. I am not a big Pale Papaya user, but with the Calypso Coral and Pool Party, it has really earnt its place in my crafting.

I really enjoy creating backgrounds with embossing paste, but for this card I wanted it to be a main element and I think it has worked.
Cut a piece of A4 Basic White cardstock into four. Take one of your pieces and create a blended background, using Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya ink and Blending Brushes. My top tips for this are to always start off the card, use circular motions and add a little at a time. Once you are happy with your blending trim 1mm of each edge, this gives a clearer look.
Take your mask and lay over your blended background, fixing down with low tack tape if you wish. I have chosen to use one of the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks and set it slightly squiffy. Using a Palette Knife, add Embossing Paste to the center and scrap towards the edges leaving lots of empty spaces around the corners. Allow to dry.
Using Amazing Thanks Dies, cut Thanks from Pale Papaya cardstock and the corresponding layer die from Calypso Coral Cardstock. Cut a label from Basic White cardstock, I have used Natural Prints Dies, and layer your sentiment up on top.
Once your Embossing Paste is dry, layer flat onto Basic White cardstock. Create an A6 card base from Thick Basic White cardstock, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, and add your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere your label, also using Stampin’ Dimensionals, to the lower left.
To finish your card, add several Pool Party Glossy Dots.
