Hello, glad you have popped by to allow me to, hopefully, inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you how to use those scrap pieces of DSP (Designer Series Paper). This card is created for the Global Design Project #GDP342 sketch/layout challenge.
I really enjoy a sketch/layout challenge and this one really got me thinking. I have lots of left-over pieces of DSP and never want to throw them away, now we don’t need to. With this layout you can use them up.

For this card I have used the Sun Prints Suite Collection. This includes the Nature’s Prints stamp set and dies bundle, Sun Prints 12″x12″ DSP and Fern 3D embossing folder. I also added extras for embellishment.
Cut a layer of Gray Granite cardstock, measuring 9.5cm x 13.9cm. Using either a Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend or Write Marker, splatter all over, by flicking the brush nib on the edge of the lid. Trim several pieces of DSP to 19.9cm and various widths, around 1cm. Adhere these to your Gray Granite layer.
Stamp your large foliage image onto Basic White cardstock, using Starry Sky ink. Die cut out using the coordinating die. Using the Natural Prints dies, Night of Navy and Gray Granite cardstock, die cut several foliage pieces. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of your stamped image and adhere to your Gray Granite layer. Using Mini Glue Dots or Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere your die cut foliage behind your stamped image.
Wrap Gray Granite Bakers Twine twice around your layer and tie with a bow. Stamp your sentiment onto Gray Granite cardstock, using Versamark and cover with white Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Shake off excess and heat until all is melted. Die cut using the label die and adhere to your layer, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Trim a piece of Basic white cardstock to 10cm x 14.4cm and adhere to the back of your Gray Granite Layer. Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Starry Sky cardstock and fix your Basic White layer to the front.
To finish your card, add Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
