Hello, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you how I created this Hi, Sweet Friend card for the Global Design Project #GDP348. This week we have a CASE the Designer challenge.
I really enjoy a CASE the Designer challenge. To CASE means Copy And Selectively Edit. You may have also heard Copy And Share Everything, this is also true, but for Global Design Project it is Copy And Selectively Edit.
Hi, Sweet Friend Card
For this card I will be using the By My Side stamp set and Stampin’ Blends.
Stamp your image onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour your stamped image using Granny Apple Green, Orchid Oasis, Soft Suede, Bronze, and Medium Light Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends. For extra detail I also used a touch of Light Daffodil Delight, Light Pool Party, and Colour Lifter Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut leaving a thin white border.
Trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to 9cm x 13.4cm and lightly splatter with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend, by flicking the nib from the edge of the lid. Layer onto a piece of Orchid Oasis, measuring 9.2cm x 13.6cm.
Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut the second largest square from a piece of Crushed Curry DSP (Designer Series Paper), from the Tea Boutique DSP. Adhere to your splattered Basic White layer, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Place your coloured image in the center and adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from Basic White Thick cardstock and adhere your layers onto the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Stamp your sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Finishing Touches
To finish your card, add several Rhinestone Basic Gems.
