Hello, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you how I created this Happy Birthday Tag card for the Global Design Project #GDP349. This week we have a colour challenge.

I really enjoy a colour challenge. It gives me chance to play with colours that I would not always put together. This week’s colours are fresh and vibrant, perfect for summer.

Happ Birthday Tag Card

For this card I will be using the Pansy Patch stamp set and Tailor Made Tags dies.

Stamp one large and one small pansy onto Basic White cardstock, using first- and second-generation Daffodil Delight and Tahitian Tide ink. Mask off your pansies, using Masking Paper, and stamp your leaves, using first- and second-generation Parakeet Party Ink. Using the largest die from Tailor Made Tags Dies, die cut a tag from your stamped Basic White cardstock. Stamp your sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Using the same Tailor Made Tag die, die cut a tag from Parakeet Party In Colour Designer Series Paper. Adhere on the wonk to the rear of your stamped tag, ensuring the thread holes line up. Cut a length of White Crinkled Seam Binding, long enough to tie a large bow and colour using Light Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blend. Thread threw tag holes and tie with a bow.

Trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to 10cm x 14.4cm and lightly splatter with Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, by flicking the nib from the edge of the lid. Emboss using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and layer onto a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, measuring 10.2cm x 14.6cm. Wrap white Baker’s Twine twice around and adhere on reverse.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from Basic White Thick cardstock and adhere your layers onto the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere your tags to the front, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches

To finish your card, add several Tahitian Tide 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots.
