Hello and welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends Blog, where our theme is Personalised. Most people think that to be personalised, it must have a person’s name. This is so not true. You can personalise by using the favourite colour or flower, with a theme of a sport they play or a hobby they enjoy. It can be as specific or broad as you wish.
My card today is for a special friend who is feeling a little under the weather. I have personalised by adding a cat, which I have coloured to resemble my friends own cat. .
Personalised Get Well Card
Cut a layer of Perfectly Penciled DSP (Designer Series Paper), measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. I have chosen a leaf design to not detract from my main image. Wrap a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon around your DSP and adhere into place on the reverse.
Create an A6 card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5 cm, using Basic Black cardstock and adhere your DSP layer to the front.
Stamp your wooden bucket, apples, and cat images onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colour using Stampin’ Blends. For my wooden bucket I used Soft Suede Light and Dark Combo, Crumb Cake Light and Dark Combo, and Cajun Craze Light and Dark Combo. I used Cherry Cobler, Real Red and Old Olive Light and Dark Combos for the apples and Smoky Slate Light and Dark Combo with a touch of Light Petal Pink for the cat.
Die cut your images out, using the coordinating Full Basket Dies, and adhere to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp your sentiment with Versamark ink, onto Basic Black cardstock, cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, shake off excess and heat until all is melted. Trim to size and flag cut right end. Add to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish your card, add a knot and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
