Hello, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to inspire you to get creative! Today I would like to share with you a card with a split background, which I created for Global Design Project #GDP391. This week we have a theme challenge.

Global Design Project #GDP391. Theme: Rain or Shine

Sorry I have been missing, but life and my Rheumatoid Arthritis have had other ideas, plus I had to get a new laptop and that in itself has been a challenge. I cannot believe we are at the end of April and the new annual catalogue goes live on the 2nd May 2023. There are so many wonderful new products, as well as the new and returning colours. I am sad to say goodbye to some but know others will soon take their place on my favourites list.

Creating your Split Background

Global Design Project #GDP391. Theme: Rain or Shine
Split background using Rays of Light Stamp and Raindrops Embossing Folder.

Cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock, measuring 4.7cm x 14cm, and emboss using the Raindrops Embossing Folder. Using The Rays Of Light stamp and Daffodil Delight ink, stamp your image onto Basic White cardstock and trim to 4.7cm x 14cm. Cut a Basic White layer, measuring 10cm x 14.5cm, and adhere your panels on top.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Pool Party cardstock and adhere your layer to the front.

Stamp your child image, from the By My Side stamp set, onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour your image. I have chosen to use Stampin’ Blends in, Boho Blue, Copper Clay, Real Red, Stary Sky and SU 100/300/800/900. Fussy cut around your image and adhere to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp your sentiment onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and punch out using the Cloud Punch. Adhere into place using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches.

Finish your card by adding several of the Glossy Dots Assortment.

I do hope I have inspired you to get creative. All products used are listed below and available in my online shop. The Boho Blue and Copper Clay Stampin’ Blends are not list as not available until 02/05/23
