How To Create A Quick & Easy Seaside Card!

Welcome and thanks for stopping by. It’s time for the Build & Bloom Blog Hop and for July we are bringing you ‘Seaside / Coastal’ projects. Recently I have been wishing I was at the seaisde and able to cool off with a little paddle.

This month I am using the Summer Happiness Bundle as my Product Spotlight over on my social media. I have been having so much fun creating with this bundle, and with the recent heatwave we have been having I think it is very fitting. The bundle has a coordinating washi tape, available to purchase separately, that has a bright fun images which can be cut out using the dies.

How to create your seaside card.

Cut a layer of Balmy Blue cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. Using a blending brush, Balmy Blue ink, and the Water Decorative Mask, lightly add colour to the right half of your layer. Twist your mask slightly and add another light blending of ink. This gives depth and a more sea like look to your seaside card..

Trim a piece of Shimmering Stripes Speciality Paper, measuring 3cm x 10cm, and adhere to the left of your layer. Wrap a piece of Strawberry Slush ribbon around your layer and tie with a bow. If you don not have the right colour ribbon for any project, you can colour another ribbon with Stampin’ Blends.

Create an A6 cardbase, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm, using Night Of Navy cardstock. Adhere your layer to the cardbase and finish youe card with several Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
