Hello and welcome to the March Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop. For this month we are all about Fun Folds. Who doesn’t love a fun fold card, whether it be a simple fun fold or a more elaborate double easel card, they are all simply great fun. I have opted to a simple fun fold, a Z fold card. This can be used for any occasion and has added appeal.
Following my theme over on social media, I have used the Just My Type stamp set. I have paired it with the Countryside Inn DSP (Designer Series Paper), as I thought the florals complemented each other.
Creating your simple fun fold card
Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Misty Moonlight cardstock. Score the front panel at 5.25cm app. and fold back on itself. This creates your simple fun fold card.
Trim a piece of Countryside Inn DSP to 10cm x 14.4cm and adhere to the inside of your card base. Next trim another piece of DSP to 4.75cm app. x 14.4cm and adhere to your front flap.
For the small inside flap, trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4.75cm app. x 14.4cm. Stamp the small flower image several times in the bottom right corner, using Misty Moonlight ink. I have used first and second generation stamping for a varied look.
Die cut a Basic White rectangle, using the middle rectangle from the Radiating Stitches Dies. Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp the larger flowers image towards the bottom and your sentiment towards the top. Add colour to you flowers using Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Night Of Navy Stampin’ Write Markers or Stampin’ Blends.
Matt your die cut rectangle onto a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, measuring 7cm x 10.6cm. Adhere to your card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Ensure you only adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals to the lefthand side.
Finish your card by adding several Misty Moonlight 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
