Hello, welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. We are bringing you ‘Thanks’. Besides birthday cards, thanks cards must be the cards I make and send the most. I really enjoy creating and send them, knowing that the recipient will have a smile on their face and feel appreciated. We all say thanks many times in a day, and it can just become a word, but taking the effort to make and send a card truly shows you mean it.
I love a large die-cut sentiment, but we may not have the room, budget, or products to create these. I may have the answer, the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. This pack contains a fabulous collection of large die-cut sentiments, as well as many others. These are great to have on hand and when traveling. They cover many occasions and can be used seperately or placed together. You can even add colour to compliment your project. Each pack contains eight sheets, two of each four designs.
Thanks Card
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, measuring 10cm x14.4cm, and emboss using the Birch Wood 3D Embossing folder. Adhere to an A6 Bubble Bath card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.
Using the Spotlight On Nature Dies, die-cut a circle from Basic White cardstock and add Soft Sea Foam ink to the centre, using a blending brush. Adhere to your embossed Crumb Cake layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On two pieces of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, apply a wash of Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam ink using a Water Painter, and allow to dry. An uneven covering is best. Die-cut an assortment of flowers and leaves from the Country Birdhouse and Country Flowers Dies. Use a ball tool or end of a pen to add shape to your leaves and flowers.
Add colour to your ‘thanks’ from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, using Dark Crumb Cake Blend or Write Marker. Adhere this flat to your die-cut circle.
Arrange your flowers diagonal across your card front and adhere into place with Mini Glue Dot. Add some leaves around your flowers. Any you have left over can be saved and used for another project.
To finish your card, add a Linen Thread bow and Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to the center of your flowers.
I do hope you I have given you some inspiration for using the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. All products used are listed below and available to purchase from my online shop.
Please do continue to hop round for lots more inspiration.
