Hello, Happy New Year to you! The first Tech 4 Stampers blog hop of 2025 and we are bringing you Cards For KIds. We have all been very busy with Christmas and all that that entails, now it’s time for a fresh start and what better way than with some fun crafting. Creating cards for kids allows your imagination to run wild and go all out with bright colours and patterns. What is not to like about that?

I have chosen to use the Bright & Beautiful DSP (designer series paper) with its fun patterns and colours. This DSP has been around for a while, but I just love the mix of bold designs, from stripes and stars to circles and ombres, and fun colours.

Fun Birthday Cards For Kids

Cut a layer of Basic White cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Randomly stamp stars in the corners using Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst ink. I used star images from the Love This Moment and Merriest Trees stamp sets.

Chose two assorted designs of coordinating DSP (designer series paper). Trim the first design to 9.5cm x 8.5cm and the second to 7cm x 12cm. Adhere to your Basic White layer.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies, die-cut the second largest circle from Basic White cardstock. Stamp the cake image from Attention Shoppers to the centre, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour using Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. For added interest, randomly stamp several stars around your image. Adhere to your layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Memento ink, stamp your sentiment onto Lost Lagoon cardstock. Die-cut out your sentiment using a banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. Adhere to your die-cut circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to your layer with a dimensional.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from Lost Lagoon cardstock. Adhere your layer to your card base.

Finish your card by adding several Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio in coordinating colours.
