A Simple Halloween Card using ‘Sparkle of the Season Bundle’

Hello and welcome to this months Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop. Today we bring you Seasonal Fun – Autumnal or Christmas. I have chosen to share with you a simple Halloween card, using the ‘Sparkle of the Season Bundle’. This bundle is a stamp set and dies bundle, available from the July – December 2021 mini catalogue. This bundle would be perfect for Autumn and Winter, as well as Halloween and Christmas.

I do not tend to craft for Halloween, as my child has now out grown trick or treating and unfortunately, it is not celebrated locally. When I purchased this bundle it was to create Christmas cards, but with this months theme I want to make a simple Halloween card. I do hope that my card inspires you.

Simple Halloween Card

Cut a piece of ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm, to create a card front and using ‘Tuxedo Black Memento’ ink for all your stamping, stamp the branch and leaves image, several times to the top left hand corner. In the opposite, right hand corner, stamp several of the bat images. Using the leaves stamp, stamp several times in the bottom left hand corner.

Stamp the swirl image slightly above centre. Die cut the starry swirl from ‘Basic Black’ cardstock and adhere over your stamped swirl.

Die cut three pumpkins from ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock and three bats, plus one broom, from ‘Basic Black’ cardstock. Adhere your broom to the bottom left hand corner and two of your bats below your swirl.

Add texture to your pumpkins, using ‘Pumpkin Pie’ ink and a ‘Sponge Dauber’, and place these to the bottom right hand corner using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.

Take a ‘Sponge Dauber’ and ‘Basic Grey’ ink, and add a light covering to your card front. Create a ‘Basic Black’ card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5 cm, and adhere your card card front.

Stamp your sentiment on ‘Pumpkin Pie’ cardstock, using ‘Tuxedo Black Memento’ ink. Trim to 1cm x 8cm and layer onto ‘Basic Black’ cardstock, measuring 1.4cm x 8cm. Adhere over your swirls using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’ and finish by adding your third bat to your sentiment.

September 2021 Blog Hop – Sale-A-Bration Counting Sheep Stamp set

Hello and thank you for hopping by. I can not believe we are in September already. Kids are back at school and life is getting back to normal. I have been missing for quite a while, due to circumstances, but that is life and I am back! I have so missed crafting and sharing my makes with you all.

For this months Blog Hop, we have been given the theme – Sale-A Bration. Allowing us to showcase any of the offers from our current Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Obviously, there is only one stamp set that I could choose and that is the Counting Sheep Stamp Set and coordinating Sheep Dies.

I adore these little posing sheep and their quirky expressions. They are so easy to place in various positions and the Sheep Dies make it easy to cut them out and create wonderful backgrounds. The Counting Sheep Stamp Set is available FREE, with a qualifying £45 order, as are the Sheep Dies. These are only available whilst stocks last or until 30th September.

Saturday Night Fever Sheep

I have really enjoyed creating this fun card. The expression on his little face, as he struts his stuff on the dance floor. I can hear the music now, ‘Night Fever, Night Fever’! It’s wonderful and suitable for all.

Cut a ‘Basic White’ card stock layer, measuring 9.5cm x 13.9cm. Using a ‘Blending Brush and ‘Night Of Navy’ ink, blend the ink onto the cardstock from the edges, turning your layer as you go. This will give darker edges. Continue until you are happy and have very dark edges and an area, high center, that is light. Using a ‘White Stampin’ Chalk Marker’, splat all over by hitting against a pen or pencil.

Trim a piece of ‘Be Dazzling 6×6 Speciality Paper’ (available free during Sale-A-Bration), measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and adhere to an A6 ‘Night Of Navy’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm. Layer your card front on top.

Stamp your sheep image, using ‘Basic Grey’ ink. Colour the face, legs, ears and feet using ‘Ivory and Dark Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends’. Using the coordinating die, cut out your sheep and adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dinemsionals’.

Die cut a circle from ‘Be Dazzling 6×6 Speciality Paper’, using the ‘Layering Circles Dies’. Add to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’. Draw a line from the top of your card to the disco ball.

Heat emboss your sentiment onto ‘Night Of Navy’ card stock, using ‘Versamark Ink’ and ‘White Emboss Powder’. Trim to suit and adhere using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to Mays Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop – Theme 2021-2023 In-colour + Bonus Theme – Florals.

I know it has been a while but thank you for revisiting. Life has been crazy, due to my day job returning after lockdown. I am a chef at a local pub and it has been all hands on deck. Fortunately, things have started to quieten down and I can back to doing what I love, sharing my creations with you all.

This years new In-colours are beautiful and work so well together, as well as with our core colour families. I wanted to use this opportunity to introduce them to you.

2021-2023 In-colour Customer Thank you Cards

With our added theme of Florals, I thought I would recreate a card I made previously, which I loved and thought it would show off the 2021-2023 In-colours perfectly. This card uses the Lovely You Stamp set and the co-ordinating Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

Cut a card front from ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. Randomly stamp your chosen images from ‘Lovely You’ stamp set, using ‘Pale Papaya’, ‘Polished Pink’, ‘Fresh Freesia’, ‘Soft Succulent’ and ‘Evening Evergreen’ ink pads. Layer onto a piece of 2021-2023 In-colour cardstock, measuring 14.6cm x 10.2cm.

Wrap a length of matching 2021-2023 In-colour ‘Open Weave Ribbon’ around the centre of your card front and tie with a bow. Slide your bow to the left hand side. Adhere your card front to a ‘Basic White Thick’ card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm.

Stamp your sentiment onto a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 3/4″ x3″, using the matching 2021-2023 In-colour ink pad. Punch both ends using the ‘Lovely Labels Pick a Punch’. Adhere on top of your ribbon using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.

Hello and welcome. For todays post, I am joining the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop and we have a theme – Mothers. I know here in the UK Mother’s Day was March, but it is still to come for the US. As the Stampin’ Dreams is based in the US, we are ahead.

For this theme, I would like to share with you a Rainbow of Butterflies for Mother’s Day card. I adore the ‘Butterfly Gala’ stamp set and coordinating ‘Butterfly Duet Punch’. The variety of images is beautiful and fit with a multitude of styles for projects. The infill stamps make colouring the butterflies quick and simple.

A Rainbow of Butterflies for Mother’s Day

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using ‘Basic White Thick’ cardstock. Layer with a piece of ‘Mint Macaron’ cardstock, measuring 10.2cm x 14.6cm. Cut a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, for your card front.

Using the lined image, from the ‘Pattern Play’ stamp set, stamp just over 1cm from the top and three quarters across your card front, using second generation (stamped off, to give a lighter tone) ‘Mint Macaron’ ink. Stamp again, just below the previous stamped lines, using ‘So Saffron’, ‘Calypso Coral’, ‘Blushing Bride’, ‘Highland Heather’ and ‘Balmy Blue’ ink. Remember to use second generation (stamped off) stamping.

Using one of the butterfly images, from the ‘Butterfly Gala’ stamp set, stamp onto ‘Basic White’ cardstock using each of the coloured inks. Use the infill stamp to colour the butterflies with second generation (stamped off) stamping. Add a body to your butterflies, using ‘Smoky Slate’ ink. Punch out your butterflies using the ‘Butterfly Duet Punch’.

Adhere your butterflies, using ‘Multipurpose Glue’ added to the rear of the body only, to the end of the matching colour lines on your card front. Adhere to your ‘Mint Macaron’ layer, on your card base.

Stamp your chosen sentiment onto ‘Basic Black’ cardstock, using ‘Versamark’ ink. I used Happy Mother’s Day from the ‘Timeless Tulips’ stamp set. Cover with ‘White Stampin Emboss Powder’ and heat until melted. Fussy cut and adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin Dimensional’.

Hello, I am so glad you could join me. For todays post I am joining the Global Design Project – #GDP286. This week we have been given a sketch/layout for our projects.

I do enjoy a sketch/layout challenge, being given a starting point, to interpret however we like. Also having the choice of any current products. I have chosen to revisit the ‘Ornate Garden Suite’, from the 2020/2021 annual catalogue. This suite contains two stamp set and die bundles, embossing folder, ribbon, DSP (designer series paper) and gems. The colours, (‘Terracotta Tile’, ‘Bumble Bee’, ‘Old Olive’, ‘Mint Macaron’, ‘Early Espresso’ and Gold), are fresh and perfect for a spring project.

I have chosen to introduce some other elements, not from the suite, to my project. I love the versatility and coordination of Stampin’ Up! products.

Enjoy The Moment Card #GDP286

Create a 10.5cm square card base from ‘Blackberry Bliss’ cardstock and layer with a 10cm square of ‘Ornate Garden Speciality DSP’. Cut a second piece of ‘Ornate Garden Speciality DSP’, measuring 9cm square and adhere to your card front.

Adhere a circular element, from the ‘Dandy Laser-cut Paper’ , to your card front. Stamp your daisy and small flower images, from the ‘Ornate Style’ stamp set, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black Ink’ on ‘Basic White’ cardstock. Colour using ‘Blackberry Bliss’, ‘ Crumb Cake’, ‘Daffodil Delight’ and ‘Old Olive’ ‘Stampin Blends’ combos. Fussy cut and adhere to your circular element. Use ‘Stampin Dimensionals’ to adhere your daisy.

Using ‘Blackberry Bliss’ ink, stamp your sentiment on ‘Basic White’ cardstock. I have used the ‘Enjoy The Moment’ sentiment from the ‘Enjoy The Moment’ stamp set. Cut out each word and adhere to your card front, using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’.

Add several ‘Pearl Basic Jewels’ to finish your card.

Hello and Happy Easter! What a beautiful day it has been, here in the West Midlands UK. I have spent the day in the garden, having a little tidy round. I love a warm, sunny Sunday in the garden, just pottering about and sitting enjoying the atmosphere.

For todays blog, I would like to share a project that I created for a recent challenge. The theme was a colour combo – Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. Once I pulled the colours out, blue and white pottery came to mind and monochrome watercolour.

Monochrome Watercolour Card

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from ‘Misty Moonlight’ cardstock. Using the largest ‘Stitched Rectangles’ die, cut a layer from ‘Night of Navy’ cardstock and adhere to your card front. Die cut the second largest ‘Stitched Rectangle’ die from ‘Shimmery White’ cardstock and adhere to your card front.

Stamp your flower image, from ‘Jar of Flowers’ stamp set, using ‘Versamark’ ink onto ‘Fluid 100’ watercolour card. Cover with ‘White Stampin Emboss’ powder, shake off excess and heat with ‘Heat Tool’, until all powder is melted. Repeat with your jar image.

Colour your flowers using ‘Misty Moonlight’ and ‘Night of Navy’ ink and an ‘Aqua Painter’. Use various strengths of ink and water, to give multiple tones to your flowers. Fussy cut around your coloured image. Add a wash of ‘Balmy Blue’ ink to your jar, to imitate water and punch out, using the coordinating punch.

Finishing Touches

Wrap ‘Misty Moonlight and White Twine’, from ‘Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack’, twice around the top of your jar and tie with a bow. Adhere your jar and flowers onto your card front, using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’. Finish your card by adding ‘Rhinestone Basic Jewels’.

Hello and welcome all. I am so pleased you could join me today. Life is getting back to the new normal here, after my website makeover. Learning new technology is something that really does take me awhile to get my head round.

For todays blog I am joining the ‘Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop’ and our theme this month is Easter/Spring. I am so glad that we are now in Spring and the nights are getting lighter. Seeing all the flowers blooming and garden coming to life, really does help to lift my spirits.

There really is only one stamp set I could choose for this theme, the wonderful ‘Springtime Joy’. This is such a cute set and having a sheep just makes it perfect. The images are clear and simple, which is why I have chosen to create a basic Easter card suitable for beginner stampers.

Basic Easter card suitable for beginner stampers

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, from ‘Basic White Thick’ cardstock. Stamp your Sheep/Bunny, towards the bottom righthand corner, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink. Using the same ink, stamp your sentiment in the opposite corner.

You could leave it there and just write your message inside. I have decided to add a touch of soft colour, using the ‘Soft Sea Foam’, ‘Petal Pink’, ‘Smokey Slate’ and ‘So Saffron Stampin Blends Combo’. Also a flower image on the inside.

This is a #simplestamping card, but I think it is super cute and makes a statement. Clean and simple. You do not always have to to add lots of embellishments to create a lovely card. All products used are listed below and available to purchase from my online shop.

Hello and welcome. For todays post I am sharing a heat embossed background card and joining in with the Global Design Project #GDP280, where we have been given a card to CASE-Copy And Selectively Edit.

I watched Emma Goddard – Coastal Crafter Facebook live on Sunday and she created a gorgeous card using the ‘Snail Mail’ stamp set. I had an idea to recreate using the ‘Darling Donkeys’ Stamp set.

When I saw the #GDP280 challenge, it had the same layout and new this was the perfect card for this.

Fun Friends Card With A Heat Embossed Background .

Create a ‘Shaded Spruce’ A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, and layer with a piece of ‘Bumblebee’ spot DSP, from the ‘Flower and Field Designer Series Paper’, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm.

Cut a piece of ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 9.5cm x 13.9cm. Rub over with your embossing buddy – to stop the static – and stamp spot image, from the ‘Pattern Play’ stamp set, using ‘Versamark’. Do not stamp right to the edges, leave some card untouched. Cover with white ‘Stampin Emboss Powder’ and tip off any excess. Use your ‘Heat Tool’ to melt all the powder and adhere to your card front.

Cut two strips of DSP, ‘Bumblebee’ spots and ‘Shaded Spruce’ flowers, 1.5cm wide and banner the end. Adhere to your card front with them over lapping. Die cut a ‘Basic White’ panel, using the ‘Hippo and Friends’ dies, and adhere to your card front.

Using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink, stamp two ‘Darling Donkey’ images onto ‘Basic White’ cardstock. Colour using ‘Stampin Blends’ ‘Smoky Slate’ and ‘Crumb Cake’ combos, ‘Petal Pink’ and ‘Soft Suede’ light, and Ivory. Using ‘Stampin Snips’, fussy cut both images and adhere to your card front, using ‘Multipurpose Liquid Glue’ for the fisrt and ‘Stampin Dimensionals’ for the second.

Stamp your sentiment, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink and trim into two. Adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’. Finish your card by adding ‘Playing With Patterns Resin Dots’.

Hello and welcome to my latest blog post, I am joining the Crafty Collabrations – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. We have been given a sketch to follow and you can follow exactly or interpret as you wish. I have sent myself the challenge to follow exactly.

I wanted to share with you the Free 6×6 DSP,(designer Series Paper), that is available during Sale-A-Bration with a £45 order. It allows you to create a beautiful Ombre background without any tools or mess. I know a lot of crafters feel they can not create an acceptable Ombre, do not like the mess or do not have the tools. All you need to do is trim your DSP to the size you require.

The DSP comes in four colours, ‘Bermuda Bay’, Blackberry Bliss’, ‘Granny Apple Green’ and ‘Rococo Rose’, and two designs, plain and circles. Both have the Ombre effect.

Ombre Background Cheat Card

Cut a piece of ‘Rococo Rose’ plain Ombre DSP, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Wrap around a piece of ‘Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon’ and adhere to a ‘Crumb Cake’ card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.

Using the ‘Beautiful Friendship’ stamp set, stamp your flower image in ‘Rococo Rose’ ink onto ‘Basic White’ cardstock and your sentiment in ‘Crumb Cake’ ink. Die cut with a ‘Layering Ovals’ plain die. Adhere onto a die cut scalloped edge oval from ‘Crumb Cake’ cardstock, using the next size up die from the plain one used.

Trim off the righthand side to give a straight edge. Adhere on top of your ribbon, level to the righthand side, using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Cut a 1/2 inch strip of ‘Crumb cake’ cardstock and use the ‘Lovely Labels Pick A Punch’ to give a fancy edge. Strip the scalloped edge from the ‘Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon’ and adhere to the top edge of your label. Trim to 4cm.

Wrap a piece of ‘Linen Thread’ around two fingers, several times, and place on the back of your label. Adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Hello and welcome to this months Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop – Fabulous Flowers. As sson as I saw this theme I knew I wanted to use the Hydrangea Haven stamp set, as these are my favourite flowers and what else could be fabulous!

Hydrangeas have been a favourite of mine for many years. The variation in colours, from pinks, purples and blues, is so soft and subtle. I adore the shape that is made from lots of small flower heads all clustered together. They look just as fabulous when dried.

Hydrangea Haven Card

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using ‘Seaside Spray’ cardstock. Layer with a ‘Basic White’ cardstock, measuring 10cm x 14,4cm. Cut a piece of ‘Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate’, measuring 9cm x 9cm and adhere central on your card base. Ensuring your adhesive is kept to the centre, otherwise it will show on your finished project.

Die cut a ‘Stitched Rectangle’, measuring 7.5cm x 11cm, from ‘Seaside Spray’ cardstock and adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Stamp your Hydrangea image, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink, onto ‘Basic White’ cardstock. Using ‘Stampin’ Blends Old Olive’ combo, colour your stem and leaves. For the flower head use ‘Stampin’ Blends Misty Moonlight and Highland Heather’ combos. Die cut using the coordinating ‘Hydrangea Dies’ and adhere to your card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Stamp your sentiment and die cut using the ‘With Love’ stamp and label die from the suite. Add a small piece of coordinating ‘Hydrangea Hill DSP’ to the bottom of your label and add to your Hydrangea stem. Colour a piece of white ‘Crinkled Seam Binding’ ribbon, long enough to tie a bow, using the ‘Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend’. Tie and add to the top of your sentiment label with a mini glue dot.

Finish your card by by adding ‘Highland Heather’ pearls from the ‘Pastel Pearls’.
