Hello and welcome to May’s blog hop. This month we are sharing Masculine makes with you. I struggle when it comes to masculine cards, as I know many do. Well, we have the perfect solution to this.

The Beautiful Gallery Suite contains a 6″x6″ DSP (designer series paper) pack which has some stunning images that would not look a miss in an art gallery. These images make for a beautiful card, with just an added sentiment and maybe a few embellishments being all that is needed. I have used afew other products from the suite to create my masculine card.

Masculine Card

Using the frame die from the Gallery Blooms Dies, die-cut from Secret Sea cardstock. Trim a piece of Beautiful Gallery DSP to fit behind the largest frame and adhere to back of frame.

Cut a piece coordinating dsp, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm, and emboss using the Damask Design Embossing Folder.

Create a landscape A6 cardbase, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm, from Basic Beige cardstock. Adhere your embossed DSP flat to the front. Layer your framed DSP to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Gold heat emboss your sentiment onto Basic Beige cardstock. I have used the ‘Celebrate’ from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, also part of the suite. Trim or die-cut your sentiment as required. I have used the banner from the Delightful Wishes Dies.

Finish your card by adding Pressed Flowers Motifs embellishments.

Hello welcome to the May Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop, and we are bringing you Male cards. Lots of us seem to struggle with male cards, I don’t know why this is, but I do too. I am sure that part of it is the simple reason we over think them. I mean any card can be a male card, what is it that makes is male or female? Usually, we think of pretty images and colours being more for a female, but that is not so. Saying this, I have chosen blues for my card today.

My Male card uses the Stylish Shapes and Wanted To Say Dies, plus makes use of those small piece of cardstock that we never want to throw away. We all have them, left over from other projects, and collect them waiting for that one time we need a tiny piece for a sentiment or banner.

Creating a Simple Male Card

Using the longer of the thinner banner dies, die-cut three banners from Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Smoky Slate cardstock. This will give you plenty to play around with your pattern.

Trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to 9.5cm x 13.9. Lay your banners down the lefthand side, staggering the edges. When you are happy with the placement, adhere into place and trim off any over hangs.

Cut a Basic Black mat layer measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and adhere to the reverse of your Basic White layer.

Using the Wanted To Say Dies, die-cut one set of stars from each of the banner colours. Snip these into single stars, you may find that not all stars will be usable. Adhere these alongside your banners. From Basic Black cardstock, die-cut ‘Happy Birthday’ and adhere to the bottom of your card front.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Smoky Slate cardstock and adhere your Basic Black mat layer to the front.

Hello, thank you for stopping by. Welcome to the April Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. This month’s theme is Boys & Men, and if you are anything like me, then you find male cards a bit of a struggle. It’s not that I do not like to create with typical male colours or images, but I just find them a lot harder and for that reason I have created an Easy Male Card for you.

For today’s Easy Male card, I will be using the Trucking Along Stamp Set and Punch Bundle. This bundle is part of our Online Exclusive offering and can also be purchased separately. As soon as I saw this bundle I knew I had to have it. We used to own a 1949 Ford F1 pickup, which is remarkably similar in design to this image. I have created many cards with this, including Birthdays, Celebration and Christmas. We have a wide circle of friends, who also share our passion for classic American vehicles and Hot Rods.

Creating your Easy Male Card

Cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, measuring 14.1cm x 9.7cm. Using Soft Sea Foam ink, stamp a scene onto your Soft Sea Foam card. I have used the cloud, tree, grass, and ground images. Layer this onto a a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, measuring 14.4cm x 10cm.

Stamp your truck image onto Balmy Blue cardstock, using Balmy Blue ink and punch out, using the coordinating punch. Adhere this to your stamped scene, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp your sentiment, using Balmy Blue ink, and trim to size. Add a small scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock to the rear, allowing it to show beneath. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to your scene.

Create an A6 Cardbase, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm, using Basic White Thick cardstock. Adhere your layers to the front using multipurpose glue.

To finish your card, add several Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.

Hello and welcome to Augusts Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. So, here in the UK we have had the wettest weather I can ever remember. The garden is growing at a supersonic speed, and I can’t keep up. This month’s theme is Vellum, and I would like to share with you a different I have recently discovered to create Vellum Background using Stampin’ Bends and Alcohol.

I recently participated in a product spotlight for our Team Meeting and was given the Pebbled Path Stampin’ Blends Combo and tasked with showcasing these. I showed several separate ways to use them including this one I am sharing with you today. Using the Trucking Along Bundle for this project I wanted to create an effect of road, grass and sky.

Creating your card

Cut a piece of Vellum measuring 14.4cm x 10cm. Using Pebbled Path Dark Stampin’ Blend, add colour to the bottom third of your Vellum. Spritz with Isopropanol/Alcohol 99.99%. This will cause the colour to move. Use your heat tool to move the colour and evaporate the alcohol. If you want, you can add more colour or alcohol as needed. Once dry you can repeat the process using Granny Apple Green Dark Stampin’ Blend, over the middle third. Repeat again with Boho Blue Light Stampin’ Blend, over the top third.

When your Vellum is completely dry and rub over with your Embossing Buddy to remove any static. Using Versamark ink, stamp several cloud imagesover your sky. Cover with white embossing powder, shake off excess and melt with heat tool. Make sure you do not overheat your vellum.

Stamp your truck image onto Basic White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp the wheel infill image with Memento ink and the truck infill with Cherry Cobbler. Punch out your image using the coordinating Trucking Along Builder Punch. Adhere to your Vellum Background using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp your sentiment onto Basic White cardstock and die cut using the largest of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere to your Vellum Background using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a bow with Gray Granite Baker’s Twine from the Essentials Pack. Add under your sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

Finishing touches

Create an A6 card base, measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm, using Thick Basic White cardstock. Adhere your Vellum Background to your card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, keeping it hidden where possible. Finish by adding several Pebbled Path and Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

Hello and welcome to Mays Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop. This month’s theme is – For The Men. As I have said before, I do struggle with male cards and again, I have created a simple card for you.

I have chosen to use the Circle Sayings bundle for this card. This is a stamp set and punch bundle, which has something for every occasion. The 2-3/8″ 6cm Circle Punch makes creating fabulous toppers so easy.

For The Men card

Cut a piece of Night of Navy/Misty Moonlight checked Designer Series Paper (DSP), from the Delightfully Eclectic 12″x12″ DSP, measuring 6cm x 14.4cm. Matt on to a layer of Night of Navy cardstock, measuring 7cm x 14.4cm, using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Wrap a length of Linen Thread twice around the middle and tie in a bow to the righthand side.

Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Night of Navy cardstock and matt with a Basic White layer, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. Adhere your DSP and cardstock to the center.

Stamp your image onto Basic White cardstock, using Stazon Jet Black ink. Using Watercolor Pencils, I have used a selection from both assortment 1 & 2, colour your image and punch out with the Circle Punch. Adhere over the thread, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finishing touches.

Add several white Classic Matte Dots.

Hello, it’s time for Mays Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. Did you watch the Coronation of King Charles III? What a wonderful day, I watched whilst crafting! This month’s theme is For The Men. I really struggle with masculine cards, as I know many of us do. I tend to gravitate towards Simple Stamping for men’s card and that is what I have chosen to do today.

The stamp set I have chosen to use is Night Of Flight and it is a Host reward that can be earnt for a qualifying party order. The set is images only of wonderful moths. I understand that moths may not be your first choice, for a stamp set, but this really is something different and had me drawn to it.

A Simple Stamping Male Card

Trim a piece of Basic White cardstock to 10cm x 14.9cm and stamp your chosen moth image, using Stazon Jet Black ink. Using Pretty Peacock ink and a Blending Brush, create a shadow of colour over your stamped image. Start in the center and blend outwards. Continue until you are happy with the colour and blend.

For added texture and design, use a Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker or Stampin’ Blend and splatter your card front, concentrating over your blended area. To do this, flick your brush tip on the lid edge.

Cut a mat of Pretty Peacock cardstock, measuring 10.2cm x 14.6cm, and adhere to your card front. Create an A6 card base, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Thick Basic White cardstock. Adhere your matted card front to your card base.

Stamp your sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock, using Versamark ink. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, shake off excess and heat, using a Heat Tool, until all is melted and shiny. Fussy cut or die cut around your sentiment and adhere to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop. For October we have a theme of ‘For The Men’. I always struggle with masculine makes and do not tend to purchase specifically masculine products unless they have something to do with cars. I do however have lots of gorgeous DSP (Designer Series Paper), and I am making a conscious effort to use more.

DSP can be a fantastic way to create a wonderful card with very little effort. The DSP becomes the main focus and all you really need to add is a sentiment. This is great if you are short on time or have quantity of cards to make,

A Simple Masculine Birthday Card

Create an A6 cardbase, measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm, using Daffodil Delight cardstock. Matt with a piece of DSP, measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, I have chosen a piece from the Lovely In Linen pack.

Stamp your sentiment onto Basic White cardstock, using Night of Navy ink, and die cut, using the third largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Using the Hello Beautiful stamp set, stamp several shapes/patterns onto your sentiment circle, with first- and second-generation Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue inks.

Also using the Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut the second largest circle from Daffodil Delight cardstock and the largest banner from Balmy Blue cardstock. Matt your sentiment circle onto your Daffodil Delight circle and your Balmy Blue banner onto your DSP, placing it central top to bottom and over to the left-hand side.

Add your circles to the left-hand side of your banner, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome. Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for the ‘Global Design Project’ #GDP244. This week we have been given a card by Krista Frattin to CASE – Copy And Selectively Edit. This is a great opportunity to show how you can take any card and make it your own, with the products you have.

Happy Father’s Day

For my project, I wanted to to make a card for father’s day to send to my Dad. For this I pulled out the ‘Geared Up Garage’ stamp set and ‘Garage Gears’ coordinating dies. These are a fantastic set for any petrol head! It is full of wonderful motor related images and the dies have some amazing cogs.

To create this card you will need a piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock measuring 8.5 cm x 13.9 cm. Randomly stamp your oil splodge image in ‘Smoky Slate’ ink and your nuts image in ‘Basic Grey’ ink. Cut into two pieces, one that is 6.5 cm x 13.9 cm and one that is 2 cm x 13.9 cm. Cut two pieces of ‘Daffodil Delight’ card stock measuring 7 cm x 14.4 cm and 2.5 cm x 14.4 cm. Back these onto your stamped ‘Whisper White’ layers.

Take a standard A6 cardbase, measuring 14.9 cm x 10.5 cm, and trim 3cm off the card front. Leaving you with a card front that is smaller than the back.

Using the ‘Stitched Rectangle’ dies, cut the thinnest from ‘Daffodil Delight’ card stock and the next size up from ‘Smoky Slate’ cardstock. Adhere these together, with the smaller off centre to the left. Using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’, place this onto your card front with the right hand side over hanging.

Stamp your sentiment using ‘Versamark’ ink and cover with white embossing powder. Melt this with your heat tool and die cut out. Adhere to the front of your card using ‘Stampin Dimensionals’. Finish by adding a few of the cogs, die cut from ‘Silver Foil Sheets’.

Theme – Masculine Makes

Hello and welcome to this months Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop.  Our theme for this month is ‘Masculine Makes’.  Now I have to admit that I do not enjoy making masculine cards, I find them really hard.  Most men do not want to receive a card with lots of pretty flowers and bows, but being the ‘car’ girl that I am I knew straight away that I wanted to use the ‘Ride With Me’ stamp set and coordinating ‘Truck Ride Dies’.

I will be very sad when this set retires June 2nd 2020, with the annual catalogue.  If this is a set your just can not do without then hope on over to my online shop before they sell out.

Happy Birthday Card

For this card you will need a piece of ‘Whisper White’ card stock that measures 9.7cm x 14.1cm.  Stamp your truck image in the bottom left corner and a set of balloons in the rear of your truck, using ‘Memento Tuxedo Black’ ink.   Colour your truck using ‘Stampin’ Blends’, I used ‘Basic Black’, ‘Smokey Slate’ and ‘Balmy Blue’ light and dark.  For the ground I used ‘Gray Granite’ light and dark.  Add light ‘Pool Party’ around your truck and in the window.

Stamp and die cut two further sets of balloons and colour these also with ‘Stampin’ Blends’, I used ‘Pool Party’, ‘Bermuda Bay’ and ‘Highland Heather’ light and dark.  To add extra highlights I used the ‘Stampin’ Blends Colour Lifter’ to bleach out the colour.  Adhere your extra balloons to the back of your truck using ‘Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive’ and ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Using the ‘Well Written Dies’ cut ‘Happy’ once in ‘Pool Party’ card stock and once in ‘Bermuda Bay’ card stock.  Adhere these together slightly off, so that you get a shadow effect.  Adhere to your card front with ‘Tombow Multipurpose Glue’.  Stamp a ‘Birthday’ from the ‘Well Said’ stamp set, using ‘Highland Heather’ ink and punch out with the ‘Classic Label’ punch.  Trim off the right edge and adhere to card front using ‘Stampin’ Dimensionals’.

Layer your card front onto a piece of ‘Bermuda Bay’ card stock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and layer onto an A6 thick ‘Whipser White’ card base measuring 10.5cm x 14.9cm.  Finish with a few sequins from the ‘Woven Threads Sequins Assortment.

DAY 1 – 5

Hello and welcome.  How are you? I hope you are all staying safe.  When I was first furloughed I thought great, lots of craft time, but it just did not happen.  I had lost my crafting mojo!  After days of wanting to craft, but no having any thought on what to do, I saw that @Martin’s Mayhem had put together #30DAYCARDMAKINGCHALLENGE.  I made the commitment to participate and this got me crafting and it has definitely brought my mojo back.

Today I will be sharing my cards from day one to five.  I do hope you find some inspiration and enjoy.  A list of products and techniques will be below each card.

Day 1 – A Simple Thank You

Create a background using a sponge brayer and ink.  White heat emboss your image on top and punch out a sentiment.  Add silver thread and rhinestones to finish.

Day 2 – Colour Combo – Poppy Parade, Whisper White and Pacific Point

White heat emboss your image onto watercolour card, using an aqua painter colour your image and fussy cut.  Cut two birthdays and layer to give a shadow.  Die cut a frame and stamp a happy.  Finish with rhinestones and twine.

Day 3 – Boys Are Back In Town

Create a background, using random stamping.  Cut cogs from silver foil and heat emboss with copper, over some areas.  Black heat emboss your car and your sentiment in white, cut out and add to card.  Finish with a coordinating trinket.

Day 4 – New And Never Used

Stamp your image and colour using watercolour pencils, die cut out with a square stitched shape.  Stamp a random background, add ribbon and twine, and rhinestones to finish.

Day 5 – Case Your Card

Fussy cut your images and adhere on to card front using dimensionals.  Stamp your sentiment and die cut.  Finish with ribbon and tassle.
